Install nuCDP Plugin on cPanel

Overview

The following guide will show you how to install the nuCDP Plugin in cPanel.


Requirements

  • A server with cPanel
  • If you have a firewall, then please allow access to download all packages from *.nucdp.com


Note : Please allow port 1781 through your firewall for the nuCDP Client


Installing nuCDP Plugin

Note: Before starting the installation make sure ionCube Loaders are enabled. You may refer to the following guide Enable Ioncube cPanel. Please make sure that the Ioncube loader is selected for the backend copy of PHP.
Now SSH to your server and enter following commands:

wget -N http://files.nucdp.com/plugin.sh
chmod 755 plugin.sh
./plugin.sh

Now go to :
WHM > Plugins (Add-Ons on older versions than 11) > nuCDP Backups

If the nuCDP Client is already configured on the cPanel Server, you will see the Dashboard :

Configure the nuCDP Client

If the nuCDP Client is not installed on the cPanel Server, an Installation Wizard will be shown. You will need to fill in the nuCDP Server details :

Once you submit the installation details, it can take some time for the installation to complete. You will then see a notice as follows and will be redirected to the nuCDP Plugin Dashboard :

Thats it the installation of nuCDP Plugin and nuCDP Client is completed!
